Join us at the South Bay Healing Sanctuary in the powerful, meditative practice of Mala making! Together, we will go on a beautiful journey as we design + handcraft custom Mala beads infused with positive energy & intention. Learn how to create special gifts for friends and family and even craft and sell on Etsy! The Mala Workshop includes: *A beautiful ceremonial circle setting with candles and flowers *Intimate group of 8 participants maximum *A discussion about the history of Mala beads + why the number 108 is significant. *A guided sound meditation to drop into the peaceful vibe we would like to create our malas in! *An overview of our AAA grade, highest quality gemstones and their healing qualities: fair trade and ethically and sustainably sourced only!! We pay a premium for these to ensure we are truly placing the best energy into our prayer necklaces through and through and supporting ethical businesses. *A guided lesson in hand-knotting your Mala beads *Plenty of time to design & create your custom Mala *A personal blessing for your Mala beads to seal your intentions, with option for a tassel or gemstone pendant guru bead *Bonding time with community We have three options for your choice of Mala beads! One is not "better" than the other - this is based on personal preference and the cost of materials. Option 1: Rudraksha fruit beads plus up to 1 strand (48 beads) gemstones ($125) + guru bead + tassel or pendant Option 2: Sandalwood beads plus up to 1 strand (48 beads) gemstones ($145) + guru bead + tassel or pendant Option 3: Full gemstone Mala (108 beads) gemstones ($175) + guru bead + tassel or pendant Time: 6pm Workshop Length: 3 hours. I will provide light snacks and beverages. Please wear comfortable clothing and arrive on time.
